Our Bedfordshire Focus

Abel Gray acquires land for residential development across Bedfordshire. We consider land both with and without planning permission, including agricultural land, brownfield property, gardens, paddocks, development plots and redundant buildings.

We work directly with landowners and can agree an outright acquisition, conditional contract or Option Agreement depending on the site and circumstances. Where a transaction is subject to planning, we can fund and manage the planning process ourselves.

Planning authority responsibilities vary across the county, including Central Bedfordshire Council and Bedford Borough Council. Local plan policy and published housing land supply evidence are reviewed for the individual location before any proposal is made.
